- 1.Prioritise subnetting speed — the N10-009 exam will not give you time to work slowly through subnet calculations, so practise until you can solve CIDR problems in under 30 seconds without a calculator
- 2.Learn the CompTIA troubleshooting methodology (identify the problem, establish a theory, test, establish a plan, implement, verify, document) and apply it explicitly to every scenario question, as examiners reward structured thinking
- 3.Do not skip wireless networking — 802.11 standards, channel planning, and wireless security protocols like WPA3 are heavily tested on N10-009 and frequently underestimated by candidates coming from a wired background
